Australian Consumer Data Right

The Consumer Data Right (CDR) in Australia, overseen by the Australian Government and managed by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), enables individuals and businesses to access and share their data securely with accredited third parties. Initially implemented in the banking and energy sectors, the CDR is an opt-in service designed to provide greater choice, control, and convenience. The Australian Government plans to expand the CDR to additional sectors.
