International Open Data Charter

The International Open Data Charter is a  set of principles and practices regarding how organizations, especially governments, might open their data and make information more widely available. It is governed by the principles of being open by default, timeline and comprehensive, accessible and usable, comparable and interoperable, for improved governance and citizen engagement, and for inclusive development and innovation.
